Eye Tracking Recorder Privacy Policy

1. Data Collected and Used

Eye Tracking Recorder (the “App”) uses the front-facing camera to record the user’s eyes and surrounding skin and to generate graphs of eye movements.

If the user’s head moves during recording, the App analyzes the difference between the movement of the eyes and the movement of nearby skin spots or marks placed around the eyes. Part of the user’s face may appear in the recording, but the App does not perform facial recognition, identity verification, personal identification, or the creation of face templates or biometric identifiers.

2. Storage and Retention

Recording and analysis are performed on the user’s device. Videos are saved in the “ETR” album, and graph images are saved in the “ETRgraph” album in the user’s Photos library.

The data remains stored until the user deletes it. If iCloud Photos is enabled, the data may be synchronized to the user’s personal iCloud account. No data is transmitted to or stored on a server operated by the developer.

3. Sharing with Third Parties

The App does not automatically transmit data to third parties. Data is sent only when the user explicitly chooses to share it or send it by email and selects a recipient or app. After transmission, the privacy policy of the selected recipient or service applies.

4. Data Deletion and Withdrawal of Consent

Videos can be deleted from the App or the Photos app. Graph images can be deleted from the Photos app. Deleted data may remain in the Photos app’s “Recently Deleted” album for a limited period.

Camera and Photos permissions can be revoked at any time through iOS Settings. Deleting the App does not automatically delete data stored in the Photos library.
